What is the WRS certificate?

The WRS Certificate of Registration officially recognizes and validates a registered seashell size record based on the criteria submitted and verified by the WRS-Shells team. It serves as a permanent digital record of achievement for the collector and the specific specimen.

Each Certificate of Registration is a comprehensive record, featuring the following key details:

• Owner/Collector: The name of the individual or entity who submitted and owns the record.
• Registration Date: The official date the record was verified and issued.
• Taxonomy: Full classification of the specimen: Family, Genus, and Species.
• Ascertained size The verified, maximum or minimum size achieved for the record.
• Specimen photograpgh An image of the registered seashell.

If you believe you have a potential record, you would typically register on wrs-shells.com and follow the submission process.

• Log In to your account
• Go to your list of submitted shells or to My Shells list
• Edit the seashell for which you want the certificate
• Click the Certificate button
• Select the photo to print on your Certificate
• Create the Certificate
• Download or email the certificate
